OUTDOOR COMPETITORS PLEASE NOTE!!!
From this season, the entry of results for outdoor competitions will follow the same process as indoor competitions.
All players must now enter their own results via the ajcomps.com portal. You will need a valid email address to access the system and to receive notifications about your opponents and future rounds. Please contact the acting outdoor comp secretary (currently AJ Rana) if your details have not been set up in the ajcomps portal, or you cannot access it.
Entering your result is quick and easy:
Log in to ajcomps using your email address and password
Click “View / update my competition results”
Click “Update” next to the relevant competition
Enter your score
Walkovers:
Click the left walkover button for a home win
Click the right walkover button for an away win
Once the results are entered, they are immediately updated on the website and the appropriate next-round notifications are automatically sent by email.
No internet access?
If you do not have access to the internet, you may still submit your result by messaging the Acting Secretary (currently AJ Rana).
Updating your details
If any of your contact details are incorrect (name, phone number, email, club, etc.), these can be updated directly within the ajcomps portal by selecting “Update my details”.

Dear Bowlers,
It is a great honour to have been elected as your County President for the 2026 season.
I look forward to representing the Nottinghamshire County Bowling Association and serving our membership to the best of my ability throughout the year.
I wish to express my sincere thanks to Kevin Broadley for his dedicated work in recent years to ensure the Adams and Newton teams have remained fully supported. I also extend my appreciation to Michael Watson, whose assistance and guidance at matches has been invaluable. My thanks are also offered to all County Officers for their continued commitment and service.
I am very much looking forward to working alongside Neil Griffin and Dave Gascoyne in their roles as Deputy President and Junior Vice President.
A particular highlight of my past two years as Captain of the Newton team was lifting the Newton Cup at the National Finals in 2024. My gratitude goes to all the players for their outstanding efforts in securing this achievement.
As I conclude, I would like to extend my best wishes to the Ladies County Bowling Association for the forthcoming 2026 season, and I look forward to strengthening our work together.
Finally, I wish all bowlers, both new and experienced, every success for the 2026 season, and trust that all our games will continue to be played in the true spirit of sportsmanship.
Thank you.
Jonathan (Jon) Carlton
County President, 2026
