PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS
Dear bowlers.
It is indeed an honour and a privilege to be elected to serve you as your County President, and I look forward to representing you and the Nottinghamshire County Bowling Association during my Presidential year.
I would like to express my gratitude to our former President, Dave Adams, for his hard work and dedication during his term of office, as well as for the help, support, and guidance he has given me over the past two years. I will do my utmost to uphold the high standards set by him and, of course, by our predecessors.
I look forward to working closely with my Deputy, John Carlton, and Neil Griffin, who will take up the position of Junior Vice President. Together, we will continue to build on the team successes enjoyed over the last few years.
I would also like to congratulate Denise Pearl on being elected as the Ladies County President. I have known Denise for over 30 years and look forward to working with her to promote and support our respective County Associations during our year together.
Finally, I hope to see as many bowlers as I can on the greens, and I trust that you all have a truly enjoyable year of bowls. I wish you good health and every success, whether you compete at the club, team, or individual level, or are just happy to play our fabulous sport on a social level.
Yours in Sport!
